Testimony

My name is Dauda Muhammed Jamiu, and I’m currently studying online from Akure. I first heard about the NBC program through a friend’s status, and it sparked my curiosity. Before joining NBC, my Christian life felt moderate. I engaged with the scriptures but only scratched the surface, thinking I had a solid understanding of God’s word.

What really motivated me to enroll was the program’s approach to teaching. The fact that it was offered for free also caught my attention, and I felt compelled to dive in fully.

Since joining NBC, my Christian experience has transformed immensely. I now immerse myself in both the written and living Word of God. I’ve learned so much, especially about concepts like the new creation man and the significance of the cross. These teachings have reshaped my faith and deepened my relationship with Christ. I’ve come to realize that He lives in me, giving me strength in my weaknesses.

My convictions about Christ have solidified. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, our Savior and Lord. I now understand the Bible as the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. Salvation comes through faith in Jesus alone, by grace, and not by works. I also see God as a loving and just Father who desires a personal relationship with each of us. The Holy Spirit guides and empowers us, and I feel more connected to the church as the body of Christ, united in love and mission.

One of the most profound changes has been in my personal life. I struggled with anger and dishonesty in my business practices, often inflating prices. However, since joining the NBC program, I’ve learned to approach my customers with integrity, setting fair prices without resorting to deceit. The anger that once controlled me has been replaced by a sense of peace and renewal.

Today, I can confidently say that my faith is not just a personal belief but a public profession that I live out in community and service to others. I wholeheartedly recommend the NBC program to others. I look forward to seeing more of my friends join this journey, by
