Testimony

My name is Daniel Idris Siman, with Reg. No. NBC/2024/0941. Before NBC, I was just a casual, religious Christian who focused on activities without truly knowing God. I was tired of my present life and wanted a better future. I knew that to achieve this, I had to know God for myself.
Since starting NBC, I’ve been learning to surrender fully to God and let go of things that are not relevant to Him. My conviction now is simple: God owns everything, so there’s no need to panic about life.
The transformation I’ve experienced during this program has been profound:
1. I went to my social media pages and unfollowed every secular musician and celebrity because they weren’t helping me grow in Christ.

2. My urge for lustful content, including watching pornography, has drastically reduced. When I started NBC, I was still struggling with it, but I don’t even know when the urge stopped. I haven’t watched porn in over a month now, and I’m truly happy about that.

3. I now read my Bible almost every day, something I never did before.

4. I’ve started attending church regularly. For two years, I wasn’t consistent, but in the last three months, I’ve attended church more than I did in the last two years combined.

5. God blessed me with a contract job worth 500,000 Naira during the course of NBC.


This class has taught me not to give in to my weaknesses. My biggest struggle was with pornography, but I’m now over a month free and trusting God to keep helping me. I’ve also stopped engaging in secular music and am now excited about knowing God for myself. Engaging with the Bible is a new and fulfilling part of my life, and I’m grateful for this transformation.
