Testimony

From my siblings, I found out about NBC and also, because I wanted to know God for myself and needed the right guidance. So many things I once took for granted, I now see differently. The peace of God that surpasses all understanding is now my anchor; I’m no longer anxious or fearful no matter the pressures around me. I hear Him speak to me, and that assurance keeps me calm.

Before, I was very self-centered and money-focused without even realizing it was a problem. At the Cross, the Holy Spirit exposed this in me. My love for money, lack of empathy, and selfishness died there, and He keeps working on me. I’ve truly changed, I’m not as I used to be.

Reading the Word has also become a motivation for me, even helping me enjoy reading other books. I’m not perfect yet, but I’m growing daily. I went through deep pain from a traumatic experience three years ago that left me depressed and affected my health, work, and relationships. During the Cross experience, I received the word that “He sees me.” Now, even when old memories try to come back, I hear God remind me of His love, and I live freely. I’ve cut off anything that triggers those feelings, and God has been helping me.

I now have empathy, not just sympathy. I didn’t even realize how cold I was to other people’s emotions until the Holy Spirit showed me. I’m truly grateful for how far God has brought me.
