Free from vices
I heard about the New Believers Class through a friend who had also gone through it. For almost a decade, I struggled with sexual immorality — pornography, masturbation, and fornication. I also battled lying, often to “protect” people I loved, and felt a deep emptiness and constant anxiety about my future.
Since joining NBC, God’s Word has been correcting me. Though I still stumble, especially with sexual sin, I always return to God for help, and He’s been giving me strength. The frequency has reduced drastically, and I’m confident I’ll soon share a complete testimony of victory.
Through the classes, the Holy Spirit also convicted me about lying. I used to lie for my siblings, especially to get money from my dad, but now I refuse to be part of it and feel so much joy and freedom.
Finally, I came to NBC feeling confused and restless, but now I have a quiet peace inside me and a hope that things will only get better. God has truly started a work in my life, and I’m grateful.
