Testimony

Greetings, Sir/Ma. My name is Patricia Iboyi, and my Reg. No. is NBC/2024/0812. I first heard about NBC through a close friend who spoke so highly of the program. At the time, I was not in a very good place spiritually. My knowledge of the life of Christ was limited, and I knew I needed more. I longed for something deeper, something that would truly guide me in my walk with God. That’s when I decided to enrol at NBC.
My motivation was simple: I wanted to obtain more knowledge of Christ and Christianity and grow in my faith. I knew there had to be more to the Christian life than just attending church. I was yearning to truly understand what it meant to follow Christ and how to live according to His will.
Since coming to NBC, I can say with confidence that my life is much better. I've come to realize that it's not just about being in church or among other Christians; it’s about what I do in my secret place with God. That personal connection is what truly matters.
My conviction about Christ has deepened. I now understand that God is never far from me. His timing may be different from mine, but He is always present, always working in my life. I also learned that how we address God often reflects how we experience Him. I have learned to draw closer to Him, and in that closeness, I feel His presence more than ever.
One of the most significant revelations for me is that I have no power over anything. It is Christ who lives in me and works through me. I’ve come to the humbling realization that in everything I do, He is the first. I am merely a vessel.
The changes I’ve experienced are profound. First, there was a transformation in my mindset. I started to see things differently, with a clearer understanding of my relationship with Christ. Secondly, I experienced the visit of the Holy Spirit. His presence has been a guiding force, and I feel His comfort and direction in ways I never did before.
By the grace of God, I am walking this journey of faith with a renewed spirit. I know that God is working in me, and I look forward to growing even more in my understanding of His word and His will for my life. The changes I've seen are only the beginning, and I am excited for what lies ahead on this journey
with Christ.
