A Journey to Clarity: My Testimony
My registration number is NBC/2024/0848. I’m part of the onsite campus in Kano, where my transformative journey began after I heard about NBC during a convergence.
Before joining NBC, my Christian life was marked by confusion and inconsistencies. I was plagued by fears about my salvation, doubts about my faith, and a prayer life that felt nonexistent. Reading the Bible seemed more like a chore than a source of inspiration; it often felt like a sleeping pill, rather than the life-giving Word it truly is.
What motivated me to enroll in the program was a deep hunger to understand God’s ways and a desire to strengthen my commitment to follow Him. I wanted clarity and purpose in my spiritual journey.
Now, my Christian experience has completely transformed. I feel solid and at peace, free from the confusion that once clouded my understanding of what it means to please God. I no longer fear reverting to my old ways; I have a clear sense of direction as a follower of Jesus. Everything makes more sense to me now than ever before.
My conviction about Christ has deepened significantly. I now understand that He is real and present in my life. I’ve embraced the truth that I have been nailed to the cross; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. This consciousness drives me to nurture the “baby Jesus” within me, continually growing in my faith.
Throughout this program, I have experienced profound transformations. I now feel more relaxed and genuinely happy being a Christian, a stark contrast to my previous mindset, where following God felt impossible. My prayer life has flourished, and I’m more intentional about my daily choices.
Interestingly, I’ve noticed that I’ve begun to see things before they happen, a shift that has deepened my awareness of God’s presence in my life. Most importantly, my heart has opened up with an increased love for others. I find myself genuinely wanting to do good and be a blessing to those around me.
